Design Notes
roGFP2 was optimized for the expression in yeast. This part enables several fusions, with either signaling tags in order to achieve a specific localization inside the cells or proteins in order to enhance or specify the redox sensing. For example the fusion with Glutaredoxin, is reported to enhance the speed of sensing in vivo redox changes of the glutathione pool Schwarzländer et al. (2015)
